Hi everyone, I’ll begin by thanking all that helped put together an entertaining 2011 season.
It’s always great to see Edorc members getting out and helping support our own events.
Looking back on 2011 and previously we have noticed driver numbers as a whole are low which makes life difficult to justify running and organising a full championship, for example, no one completed more than 50% of this years championship so hence no trophies. This is not a complaint just an observation. It seems situations and climates have changed, now people can’t always commit to competing every month be it money, family or whatever, sport should be about fun, and feeling you have to be somewhere so as not to loose some points on a leader board seems a weird scenario to be in.
Therefore this year will be different!
Passed at the AGM this year there will be no championship. Instead During the year Edorc will put on i.e. HOST 2, maybe 3 events These will be publicized way in advance and be open invitation to other clubs (As always ) in the hope of attracting a large turn out and having a great days racing.

I Hope to finalise dates by mid February
The first event is likely to be end of April at a very exciting new venue.
For those who do wish to race more frequently I will do my best to make sure dates of local events are made available, you could easily still run every month if desired!
